Join Andrew and George for a six-week immersion course into the heart of Yoga.
Yoga is the unitary movement of body, breath and mind. It is a practice of intimacy with life and our relationships.
In this course we explore how each person can practice the Yoga that is right for them: according to body type, age, health and culture. Topics include: the five key principles of practice; how to breathe during asana; adapting yoga for health conditions; reducing anxiety; the impact of yoga on our intimate relationships; yoga for religious and non-religious backgrounds; what is meditation in relation to yoga.
The goal of the course is to give you everything you need so you can practice your own Yoga at home (but still come to class to say hello :).
George and Andrew are qualified teachers who are serious (and lighthearted) about making sure that each person gets a Yoga practice that suits them.
We teach in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar.
