Our February event features guest speaker Barbara Jaques of BJ Projects - Coaching & Training who will talk about "How Often do you Feel Anxious? What it is, how our brains do it & strategies to master it."
"Anxiety NZ"s website states that 1 in 4 NZ'ers experience anxiety, depression, panic attacks, OCD or phobias. This means you most likely know someone who has experienced it. And if you know me, then you can answer that question with a resounding "Yes".
Anxious feelings have punctuated most of my life from my first day of school, through to today where sometimes they can still overcome me. Learning to work with & through these feelings hasn't been easy, or quick. Understanding that my anxiousness was there to help me, rather than to torture or punish me, was a revelation, & when I finally 'got it' I felt back in control of me. When I use my anxious feelings to my advantage, events & situations become more comfortable & easier to manage.
Which means ...if I can do it, you can too, if you want to."

- Once your payment appears in the WBWN account, you'll be emailed a tax receipt.
