Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes take you through a series of gentle movements verbally guided by the practitioner. These five classes are focused on reducing back and neck pain and 45-60 minutes in duration.
What's a Feldenkrais Class like?
You'll be lying, sitting or standing on a comfortable mat and gently moving through a sequence of movements that involve the whole body. The aim is to bring awareness to what you're doing so that you can discover where you over- or under-work and how to let go of unnecessary pain and tension.
Paying close attention to how you move and making improvements, rather than pushing and forcing, is what it's all about. There'll also be lots of short rests along the way, to give your body a chance to process and integrate.
What to bring:
Please come in clothing that is comfortable and doesn't restrict your movement. I will supply mat's and any padding that is necessary for your comfort.
