In an increasingly unstable world and within our own sometimes hectic lives, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, stressed and out of control. By learning simple meditations and mindfulness techniques we can dive below the surface of turbulent distracting thoughts and enjoy the tranquillity and stillness of our own mind.
On this meditation course Kelsang Shechog will give some practical advice on how we can develop and maintain a calm, clear and peaceful mind, and how we can let go of the disturbing emotions that trouble us, even in the midst of busy daily life.
About the Teacher:
Kelsang Shechog is a Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland. Shechog has taught for many years and is much loved for her gentle manner, inner strength and clear, skilful teachings.
