As a native Mexican, I inherited the love and passion for cooking from previous generations as I watched my mother and grandmother in the kitchen creating delicious dishes.
I would like to invite you to join me, to use the very fresh ingredients of our Mexican Cuisine, and recreate together those delicious dishes. I love sharing my knowledge about one of the most varied and delicious cuisines in the world.
My Mexican Antojitos food class is an ideal way to immerse yourself in Mexico’s urban cuisine and culture, while meeting new people, sharing a new great experience and having lots of fun. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the techniques to prepare ancestral delicacies that you can recreate back home. Whether you're an experienced cook or a newcomer – you will love cooking of one of the world’s most recognised cuisines.
All ingredients provided but bring an apron, dishcloth, tea towels and containers to take any leftovers home.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Recognize real Mexican food
- Be able to use ingredients to give the real flavours of Mexico
- Make a few dishes from entrees to desserts
- Make your own tortillas
- Make your own salsa
- Speak some Spanish
