Arataki Honey the Company
Arataki Honey Ltd has been in beekeeping since 1944 and has always been located in Arataki Road. It is one of the largest beekeeping enterprises in the Southern hemisphere & is still family owned & operated. With all this experience we are confident we will be able to help with any questions.
Honey & retail section
The Visitor Centre has a gorgeous honey & honeybee related gift store to browse through. Luscious New Zealand made cosmetics & body care items, health products and advice. For the foodies we offer a wide selection of gourmet products both again New Zealand & locally made. Toys & clothing for children! And something for everybody else – you will truly be amazed!
The centre is open for a self-paced experience with the team always at hand to inform and answer questions. The centre is free to visit.
The centre welcomes tour groups of any size and has a number of options available, from a brief introduction to a fully hosted tour. Group bookings are essential.
