Richard Rowland was our friend and fellow Rollerblader. Richard was a part of the iconic Hamilton blading scene and quickly established himself on the National scene as someone who had some intense technicality but a profound ability to throw technical tricks on a stunt like spots. He was the only person I've ever seen do full cab true mizou's on 20 stair rails while the rest of could only top soul and that was back in 1998. Besides his amazing skating ability, he was also a caring and thoughtful individual that gave his all to his mates and his family.
Unfortunately, Richard's life ended too early and he took his final breath in 2001 due to complications after a skating injury.
We would like to invite you all to the Richard Rowland Memorial OG Jam to honour the man on the 20th year anniversary of his passing.
