Arrowtown is celebrating 2.5 day live music festival in 14 venues – a feast of great music, fabulous venues, local wine and craft beers, all in a welcoming family-friendly atmosphere.
The bars and restaurants in historic Buckingham Street make a perfect intimate venue supporting top homegrown entertainers in a town known for its warm hospitality. We're hoping for balmy weather where patrons can enjoy top bands over drinks and food in beautiful outdoor and indoor settings.
The whole village comes together to showcase local Wakatipu-based musicians in all genres of music. There is no age limit and there is no cover charge.
Participating venues are The Fork and Tap, Postmasters Restaurant, Slow Cuts, Chop Shop, New Orleans, Bendix Stables, Blue Door, The Winery, Provisions, Dorothy Browns, The Dishery, Akarua, Wet Jacket, Millbrook and the Athenaeum Hall.
Following on the success of the June Arrow Sounds 12-hour music festival organisers are planning another event this time extended over a whole weekend.
Small cover charge for the hall entertainment.
