Keeping it real but ready to fly.

Are you passionate about yoga and ready to take your practice to the next level? Are you ready to take the next step to becoming a certified yoga teacher so that you can fulfil your dream by doing what you love for a living?

Join Asia Pacific Yoga on our last training for 2020 from 30 November - 18 December 2020. This 200 Hour Hatha Vinyasa New Zealand Yoga Teacher Training will be held in stunning beach town Piha, New Zealand. We create a very down to earth, neuro-physiological yoga teacher training with respect to the vast unknown that constantly draws us deeper and deeper into Magic.

This Yoga Alliance accredited and internationally recognised 200 Hour Hatha Vinyasa New Zealand Yoga Teacher Training is designed not only for aspiring teachers, but for those who are looking to immerse themselves in a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation through yoga and meditation.

This training will include 19 days accommodation, course fees and manuals. Meals are not included as students will purchase their own vegetarian food and cook either separately or communally. We will cover all aspects required for Yoga Alliance Certification in a relaxed environment, a small group of no more than 8 people.

The first week will be an immersion into Hatha asanas, pranayama and kriyas. The second week is about experiencing Vinyasa Flows based around Surya Namaskar (Sun Salute) A and B. We will have restorative and yin classes in the afternoons during the training as well. All this will give you a broad base to teach from.

Course Topics:
- Applied yoga anatomy and physiology
- Asanas, yoga styles and sequencing
- Pranayama and kriyas
- Meditation, yoga nidra
- Mantra, kirtan and chanting
- Teaching styles and workshops
- The theory of chakras, nadis, bhandas and koshas
- Yoga history and philosophy from Patanjali Yoga Sutras
- Yoga business workshop

This New Zealand Yoga Teacher Training in Piha is a vegetarian self-catering experience, so each student will buy and prepare their meals, this gives maximum dietary possibilities and is a fun way to see what other people eat. We provide accommodation and tuition and students buy and cook for themselves or collectively.

Meals are a fun and educational communal time together. There are cafes and a small store a walking distance away and the main supermarket is 25 minutes away. We will make regular shopping trips into town as needed. Typically students budget around NZ$150-$200 for the 3 weeks.

Venue and Accommodation
This 19 Day Hatha Vinyasa 200 Hour New Zealand Yoga Teacher Training will be held in a private home in Piha, a laid-back seaside village 45 minutes west of Auckland city. Shared rooms are available with bathrooms, cooking and laundry facilities. Linen and towels are supplied. Washing machine and Wi-Fi on premises.

Piha is one of New Zealand's most famous surf beach and is popular with local kiwis—especially in summertime. The dramatic black sand beach, which is marked at each end by rugged cliffs, is also the location for the TV show "Piha Rescue."
