We believe that yoga is for everyone - we make sure that you work at your own level. This is not a one-size-fits-all yoga school.
Our classes are designed to slowly build your strength and fitness levels as well as your flexibility. You will learn to relax deeply - not just your body but your mind as well. This is essential in today's stressful world.
We have many different types of classes at the Albany Yoga Room including:
Regular yoga for beginners and for more experienced students
Mums and babies courses
Restorative yoga (deep relaxation classes)
Kundalini yoga - suitable for beginners and intermediates
We also feel that learning meditation is important so free meditation sessions are offered after certain classes and during kundalini yoga.
Many students find that as a result of their yoga they begin to sleep much better. They also often find that a host of problems such as backache or joint pain, headaches and low energy levels all improve substantially.
