Award-winning Kiwi comic Ben Hurley has finally locked-in dates for his much-awaited New Zealand comeback this March. He is set to perform three hilarious shows happening in Lyttelton, Christchurch and Rangiora. Performing as his special guests are two of comedy's acclaimed stand-ups Logan Kitney and Rosie Muir.
Hailing from the rural Taranaki region, Ben first cut his comedy chops in Wellington before honing his craft in London and embody the fine-tuned beast we see today. Since his debut, he's played hundreds of gigs in the UK and has performed alongside comic superstars Stewart Lee, Stephen Merchant and Ed Byrne. He's also appeared in AotearoHA Comedy specials 'Funny Roots' and 'Would I Lie To You', and has been featured in numerous NZ Comedy Festival Galas. Ben's also known for his comedic work as a regular panelist and head writer of NZ's top rating TV comedy '7 Days'.
Across his spanning career, Ben has earned countless TV accolades to his name—hitting comedy out of the park since 2002. His long list of awards include 2002's TV2's Pulp Comedy Best New Face, 2004's NZICF The Billy T Award, 2008's The Fred Dagg Award, and 2016's Comedy Guild Best Male Comedian & Best MC and Metro Comedian of The Year.
