Rouge is a family-run Cafe in Cambridge, New Zealand. Originally opened in June 2009, Rouge is run by Alana and Phil MacKay, with help from Alana's parents David and Pamela McCathie.
We work hard to serve what we think of as the complete cafe experience - fresh tasty food, delicious espresso coffee, good wine, great service and of course a stylish relaxing atmosphere. Our goal at Rouge is to meet these demands in a way that is good for the community, our staff, and also those further back in the chain.
We believe in fresh, local, seasonal food, and we try to work with suppliers who are committed to similar values. We use only free-range eggs, chicken and bacon. We use quality organic milk from Green Valley, and quality, fairly traded, organic coffee from local coffee company Essenza.
