Are you and your mates ready to complete New Zealand's ultimate bucket list experience?
Teams of four sign-up to walk (or run) 50km in 18 hours or 100km in 36 hours. Along challenging and varied terrain, teams will cover native forest, bush tracks, private farmland and beaches alongside breath taking East Coast scenery.
Oxfam Trailwalker is not a relay! This is about determination and endurance. Teams start, stay and finish together, meeting their support crew at set checkpoints.
As part of the challenge, teams will raise a minimum fundraising target for Oxfam's vital work to reduce poverty and injustice. Oxfam Trailwalker was initially designed as an intense military exercise, expanding into the international series it has become, raising over $190 million worldwide.
Oxfam Trailwalker New Zealand launched in 2006 along the shores of Lake Taupo. In 2016 teams moved to Whakatāne with 2020 seeing this epic event reach it's fifth and final year before moving to another exciting new location for 2021.
Lock these dates into your diary, sign your team mates up and get training for this incredible event!
