Hello troops and troopettes! Yes, it is on again . . . the world famous Stewart Island singles ball.

The date will be 22 August 2009, and how do I know it's world famous? Because people come from all over the world to attend, and the last three years have sold out.

The event will be held in the National Park as well, so even though we have to keep the noise down a tad, this is Gods NZ 'third-island' little spot of paradise.

As per usual, there will be: two bands (one of which is 'Lipstick');the 2nd band is bad deeds you whear the lipstick and i think you no whot the boys will try and do allso a specil gest singer a mouth-watering continuous seafood supper; giveaway prizes; and at 3.00am, a bonfire on the beach for you and your new loved one, or your new friends.

You may find the love of your life, and if not, you are sure to make new friends.

I have heard lots of great stories, and even two weddings to boot, from people who have met at the singles ball. All these weddings and hook ups . . . something's working!

There is lots to do here, so how about coming over to the Island early, or staying after the ball to have a look around our beautiful island?
