Highlife New Year’s Day at Smales Farm is shaping up to be an incredible party but there are a few things you will need to know about the event...
Doors - Open from 1pm until 11pm. This is a day party so get to the event as early as possible to get the most enjoyment out of the event and lock down your seating area or spot on the dance floor.
Food & Water - There will be food available for purchase at this event care of Miss Moonshines, Double Dutch Fries and Lalele Organic Gelato. Complimentary water will be available throughout the event at our special water stations and on the ends of each bar.
Drink Responsibly – Go easy on any pre-drinks you may have and your consumption at the event. We want everyone to have a great time but it’s against the law for us to have intoxicated people on site. If you arrive heavily under the influence we won’t be able to grant you entry and those patrons that go over board will be removed from the event. We have a customer care area in place which will cater to guests in these capacities.
Dress - Create the best start to your 2018 by looking and feeling fresh. For our boutique style event, we encourage a smart yet fun Summer casual and upwards style of dress. Give the singlets (Mens), jandals, sports team apparel and activewear a miss for this one - dress to impress!
R21 - This year's event is R21 unless you have pre-organised entry by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Tickets – This event is on track to sell out.
Weather – This event will be going ahead rain or shine and we have lots of cover in place no matter what the conditions are. Please dress accordingly.
Parking – There is complimentary parking on site between the Matrix Security building and Air New Zealand building. Look out for the Security that will guide you into the car park near the main roundabout. There is no parking allowed outside Shore care due to emergency service requirements and vehicles must be removed from Smales Farm by 5pm the next day following the event. Smales Farm has a liquor ban in place for January 1st so no drinking in the carpark or around the Farm is allowed. Don’t drink and drive!
Taxis - We will have Taxis available and ready for guest’s departure near the front entry care of Alert Taxis.
Buses – Have been organised to and from the event. Passes from Auckland city and Ponsonby can be purchased here: https://www.iticket.co.nz/events/2018/jan/highlife-nyd
