Asbury Park, New Jersey's poignant punks Bouncing Souls celebrated their 20th birthday in 2009, and they continue to be as scintillating on stage as they were through the '90s and into the '00s. Their last trip to New Zealand was in 2010 alongside their buddies Hot Water Music, where they performed their adored and extensive catalogue of heartfelt punk anthems.
February 2013 sees the Souls return to our shores with their new album "Comet".
Auckland: Sunday 3rd February, Kings Arms (R18);
Wellington: Monday 4th February, San Francisco Bathhouses (R18).

Comet, the brand new studio album from The Bouncing Souls marks the Souls’ ninth proper full-length offering. Having been a band since 1989, the Souls gained legacy status years ago, and this new 10-song recording is everything you’d expect and want from the band and more. Comet was produced by the legendary Bill Stevenson at the Blasting Room (Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Descendents) in Ft. Collins, CO, and is another solid milestone in the band’s celebrated career.
