What better way to celebrate Taranaki Anniversary weekend than with a free festival showcasing some of our most talented artists, musicians and performers!

Featuring live music from Best Electronica Artist at the NZ Music Awards TALI featuring Chiccoreli, Rizki and the Vagancy, Ed Pool, Phil 'Suspect' Jones, Olympus Jeopardy and Trip Change!

Check out our charity art auction, featuring 50 of our most creative community members, transforming a single form into a plethora of colour, character and identity. Partnering with Autism Connex, funds raised from the auction will go to support the fantastic work they do, and assist families overcoming the challenges Autism can bring.

Unfurling creative opportunities and connecting the Taranaki community, The Koru Project provides a ‘fringe arts festival’ platform for local talent to perform, encourage creativity in our coming generations, and promote charitable causes that already play key roles supporting our people in need.

Activities are available for young and old to enjoy together, including poi making, harakeke weaving, face painting, mask making, romiromi and miri miri (massage and healing), mural painting and more.

Come along to our whanau-friendly (alcohol free) showcase of the community’s growing talents with the opportunity for all ages to participate and celebrate Taranaki arts culture by enjoying entertainment, art, food and crafts in a welcoming, safe place all whilst showing kaitiakitanga for the space around us!
