Photographer, lecturer and award-winning publisher Simon Devitt is back with his half-day workshop in which you will discover new perspectives and work on further developing your own visual language through photography. Walk away with fresh ideas on how to use photography as a storytelling medium, drawing inspiration from our upcoming exhibition Civilisation, Photography, Now.
About Civilisation, Photography, Now:
Featuring the work of 100 of the world’s finest photographers, Civilisation, Photography, Now illustrates our increasingly global, connected society, and encourages viewers to consider where we live, how we consume, what we make, and how we travel, learn, explore and control.
This workshop is truly suitable for all levels, and has been enjoyed by photography hobbyists and semi-professionals in the past, who hailed how Simon ‘rattled our camera cages and challenged us to try new tricks’. Bring a device with a camera, 3-5 prints of images that you've taken yourself and we’ll take care of the rest (including refreshments on arrival).
