The Chef and the Foodie Otago Farmers Market Tour and Cookery Class
Join chef Tony Heptinstall and foodie Nicola McConnell (founder of Dine Dunedin) on a tour of Otago Farmers’ Market.
Rug up for a winter experience and meet them at the Market at 8am. You’ll be greeted with hot coffee before they introduce you to some of OFM’s producers. Meet the characters, hear the stories behind their food production and learn there’s still plenty of seasonal produce to enjoy in winter.
After an hour and a bit of time for your shopping, find your way to Manaaki Restaurant at Otago Polytechnic for a cookery class with Tony using produce from Otago Farmers Market. He’ll create a three course menu which will be simple for you whip up to impress friends, while sharing tips on using seasonal Market produce.
Finish with a delicious tasting of the dishes!
