We are hosting our annual film fundraiser on October the 27th, screening the film 'I Am Greta'.
We invite you to join us from 5pm for some kai, a raffle, and catch up, before we hear from our very exciting guest speaker, the screening will start at 6pm.
Tickets are $25 or $22 if you buy 3 or more. If you manage to sell 3 tickets on behalf of Timebank we will pay ya 1 Time Credit!
Snack packs will be included, and there will be some kai beforehand.
In August of 2018, Greta Thunberg, a 15-year-old student in Sweden starts a school strike for the climate. Her question for adults: if you don't care about her future on earth, why should she care about her future in school? Within months, her strike evolves into a global movement. Greta, a quiet Swedish girl on the autism spectrum is now a world famous activist. The team behind Greta has been following the young activist from her very first day of school striking. Director Nathan Grossman follows the tale.
