Sirens & Sounds Community Trust presents the 7th Annual Sirens & Sounds Festival.

This ’Fun Way’ to present Vital Information is a full day of non-stop action suitable for all. See how the NZ Police, Fire Emergency New Zealand and St John Ambulance really respond in emergencies, with visual displays and interactive learning for everyone.

Big rigs, big toys - response routines, displays & challenges: Watch dramatic re-inactments and get inside fully operational equipment: NZ Defence Force Texan Training Plane, Marine Police Boat, FENZ Airport Fire Truck, NZDF Helicopter, NZDF Pinzgauer, NZ Coastguard Boat, Surf Life Saving, NZ Fisheries, Auckland Rugby, Vodafone Warriors, Tu Kaha Foundation 600hp Mack Super-Liner Truck with mobile classroom, Police Dog Demos, interactive challenges and surprise guests and much more...

On-stage: All-day broadcasting from MC Michael Alofa plus guests, with fun activities, challenges and giveaways from the ‘Vistronic Truck’. Cultural performances aplenty from well-known regional performing troupes along with local community groups and schools.

Celebrity guests: Santa arriving in the Police Eagle Helicopter,“The King” Elvis will be in the house!

Careers: Thinking about a career in the Emergency Services, NZ Defence Force or similar industries? Here’s your chance to meet local heroes and potential employees for future employment opportunites.

In the Field: PromoKing Bouncy Castles, Jump trampolines, Face Painting, Balloons, Superhero Characters, Maori Woodcarving Demos, Basket weaving tuition, see how our community groups and providers make our neighbourhood a better place.

Food stalls: A variety of food and refreshment stalls catering for all tastes will be onsite.
