“Since nearly everyone living in the modern world is coping with an overload of thinking, remembering, and planning, this may be just what the doctor ordered: a general prescription for soothing and healing overworked bodies and minds.” – Alan Wallace
Using Authentic Tibetan Buddhist Meditation techniques – this retreat is ideal for those who would like to learn, embrace or deepen the gentle, yet powerful and practical skill of mindfulness. The meditations will be guided and focused mainly on the breath, gradually moving to being mindful of mental activity and moving even subtler inwardly to being mindful of awareness. The retreat will have a strong focus on being mindful of our motivations and how to transform them into being compassionate and wise. This will be a 7-day exploration of the depths of your own mind.
The schedule will include guided meditation, optional mindfulness yoga, delicious vegetarian meals, and time for reflection – all in an idyllic retreat setting on the Coromandel.
This retreat will allow participants to build a regular practice.
Everyone warmly welcome – no experienced required!
