After playing to a full house in September 2019 The DeSotos are excited to announce a return show performing their heartland Americana & country blues at the legendary Leigh Sawmill Cafe on Sunday 6 December.
As well as appearing with The DeSotos, vocalist and guitarist Paul Gurney has performed a number of times at the Cafe with the much-loved Jubilation Gospel Choir, for whom he is as a soloist and tenor.
Then National Radio reviewer Manu Taylor commenting on Paul said "The voice is just genius......seriously the best vocalist I have heard in a long time".
With a setlist that spans gin-soaked ballads through to southern country rockers, and the odd Tom Petty or Neil Young cover in between, this will be a great evening of music!
The show will include fresh material and the band members have been busy writing and recording over the last few months.
As an added bonus, purchasers of pre-paid tickets will receive a copy of The DeSotos' critically-acclaimed album 'Your Highway For Tonight' when arriving for the show.
