Gallery trails, a great way to explore the Museum, and a sure way to find all sorts of interesting things along the way. Perfect for all visitors, both young and young at heart.

Put your best foot forward with the Find Your Feet gallery trail – from Moa footprints and animals with webbed toes, to tiny shoes and lots of knots, it’s time to think on your feet and solve the clues.

Give the Extreme Close Up trail a go – wildlife photographers need a keen eye for detail and often take extreme close-up shots that help us see things with fresh eyes. Follow the clues around the galleries where you're sure to spy all sorts of wild and interesting things!

Or if you dig archaeology, delve into our Archaeology in Action gallery trail. There are many treasures just waiting to be unearthed in our historic galleries.
