Central Energy Trust Arena is the central city hub for sport in Palmerston North. Overlooking the oval, the redeveloped grandstand at Arena 1 was completed in March 2005.
The grandstand complements the highly regarded playing surface and has been the prime reason why Central Energy Trust Arena has been so successful in securing a range of international and national sporting fixtures such as two pool matches of the Rugby World Cup, Nitro Circus and the Vodafone Warriors.
The Stewarts Electrical Supplies Lounge is extremely popular as a venue during sporting matches and also as a function. With the ability to host up to 200 guests seated around tables and 360-degree views of the city and surrounding region, this is certainly one of the city's most spectacular venues.
