Stress is an inevitable and essential part of the human condition. It is our body's natural reaction to a demand or threat. The current ways of being, where relentless productivity is celebrated and time for one’s self is perceived as limited or non-existent, has proven to be detrimental. To alleviate this, we may employ coping mechanisms that fail to serve us well and further drowns us in a sea of anxiety where catastrophising, self-sabotage and limiting self-belief become the default states of being.
However, all humans have the capacity to overcome stressful times. What are some of the ways we can successfully manage stress, create balance and learn to not just survive but thrive? How can we re-program self-limiting beliefs to work with rather than against you?
