Get started on your handmade Christmas presents by learning to create a cute felt Christmas stocking!
In this class, you will learn the basics of wet felt making by making miniature felt stocking from natural NZ wool. Wool is a sustainable and local resource, which is great fun to craft with. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and create.
You will learn:
How to make a pattern using a resist
How to ‘wet felt’ using soap and water
How to make 3D felt objects
You will leave with a mini felt stocking (approx. 20 cm high) and the skills to continue felting at home... be warned, it's addictive!
Materials list: Please bring 1 towel. All other materials will be provided.
Children 12+ are welcome to attend with an adult.
