Essential training – sickness, hand hygiene, personal hygiene, cleaning, food allergens, potentially hazardous food.
Preventing cross-contamination, waste management, pest and animal control, checking temperatures and calibrating thermometers, receiving goods, food storage. HACCP, working under and implementing a food control plan.
You will receive ITS’s Comprehensive Food Safety Certificate on successful completion of the course.

- NZQA unit 168 v6 + $30
- NZQA unit 167 v8 + $30
- NZQA unit 20666 v6 + $30
Please note, you must be in a workplace in order to achieve NZQA unit 167. If you are not currently in a workplace and would like to complete a basic food safety unit standard, NZQA unit 20666 is the best option.
