In school holiday workshops kids and teens have the opportunity to try a variety of fine art techniques with guidance from a qualified artist. Workshop groups are small for individual attention (5-12 students per class) and all art materials are included in the cost.

Monday 6th July, Cartoon Superheroes, 7-14 years, 9.00am-11.30am
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s the superest super hero you can think of! Use your imagination to design a super hero with all the best super powers and illustrate your ideas using fineliner ink pens and markers.
Monday 6th July, Crazy Robots, 7-14 years, 12.30pm-3.00pm
Use your imagination and creativity to design an awesome robot. Learn illustration techniques to produce a final artwork from your design.
Tuesday 7th July, Creepy Crawlies, 7-14 years, 9.00am-11.30am
Great for kids with an interest in the natural world. This workshop focuses on insects such as the praying mantis and the cicada. Students will learn drawing and illustration techniques.
Tuesday 7th July, Colourful Birds, 7-14 years, 12.30pm-3.00pm
Take a look at some of the brightest birds around and then learn how to draw and create your own colourful feathery friend with ink and watercolour.
Wednesday 8th July, Animal Portraits, 7-14 years, 9.00am-11.30am
An animal themed art workshop for animal lovers. Choose your favourite animal from photos provided and learn how to use ink and watercolour to create a finished animal portrait.
Wednesday 8th July, Ocean Creatures, 7-14 years, 12.30pm-3.00pm
Create a washy, watery underwater world filled with your favourite ocean creatures. Use coloured inks, watercolour and pen to paint and draw your masterpiece.
Thursday 9th July, Food Glorious Food, 7-14 years, 9.00am-11.30am
Create delicious illustrations of your favourite sweet treats…icecreams and cupcakes and more! Use bright colours and patterns to make an artwork that’s good enough to eat.
Zany Zentangles, 7-14 years, 12.30pm-3.00pm
No need to draw realistically! In this workshop you can express yourself creatively through colour and pattern, using pencils, ink and watercolour to create an abstract work of art.
Friday 10th July, Bubble Worlds, 7-14 years, 9.00am-11.30am
Create a world in a bubble using illustration techniques such as pattern and contrast. Add watercolour paint to create a mood.
Outer Space, 7-14 years, 12.30pm-3.00pm
Welcome to Outer Space! Use fun art techniques to create galaxies and planets and draw weird and wonderful creatures to inhabit them.
