They also improve your mobility, coordination, balance and overall sense of wellbeing. You will feel calmer and more resilient to deal with whatever life throws your way.
In each class, you receive verbally guided movement instructions to connect your body and brain.
Through this process, you discover your movement habits, or in other words, parts of yourself that you over- or under-work.
With different variations, you learn to find more ease in your movement and everyday activities (and it will improve your yoga practice if that's your thing).
You'll also love these classes if you're not keen on yoga or you find yoga too much for your body to handle.
You always work at your own level of comfort and there is zero pain, sweating or stretching involved. In fact, we operate on a no pain, more gain approach.
You don't use tension or force to make changes. Instead, you pay close attention to the way you move to make improvements.
Plus there are lots of rests along the way to embed the benefits and learning (and who doesn't like a little rest every now and then - especially great if you like shavasana!).
We have a fun, supportive community vibe in our classes and welcome all body types and levels of experience. It doesn't matter if you're new to movement classes or you've been doing it for years.

Sarah is a Pain-free Movement Specialist and Certified Feldenkrais ® Practitioner with years of training and experience. She is passionate about guiding you to move more awesome at any age.
