Art Hub was started 18 months ago by Architect Steven Chambers, part of his vision for a professional arts community and the laundromat art project space. In conversation with Bryce and the other artists, the idea was hatched to have a regular showing of works produced by the art hub artists, to give a the public a chance to see and purchase work with a portion of sales going back into laundromat art project space.
"We'd like to create a constant buzz here," says artist Bryce Brown, "Steve's vision for this place is extraordinary and it's a real privilege to be involved, to be one of the artists here. With various conceptual exhibitions in the front gallery, studios and a contemporary space opening up also, there will always be something happening!".
Current resident artists at art hub studios are Bryce Brown, Nick Clegg, Skye Carson-Wilson, Scott Serjeant and Nigel Banks.
Exhibitions will also include guest artists, and art residencies.
