Not Kiwi “Indian” takeaways but real Indian food like they cook at home in Manjula’s native Gujarat!
Delicious traditional Indian dishes (not based on ghee and cream!) are the focus in this four-session course where Manjula will share with you the recipes, flavours and aromas she grew up with.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Discuss the flavours and spices used in Indian and Gujarati cuisine
- Know where to purchase ingredients for a selection of vegetarian and meat dishes and finger food
- Read and follow a range of recipes step-by-step
- Create a range of classic dishes from Southern and Northern India as cooked at home
The approximate weekly cost of ingredients $20 - a list will be sent out when course numbers are confirmed.
Bring an apron, dishcloth, and a couple of tea towels and containers to take any leftovers home.
