The Vajrasattva practice is said to be particularly powerful for purifying the impure energy of the mind and the negative actions of body and speech that arise from it. In all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, the Vajrasattva practice is one of the essential preliminary practices.
We are very fortunate that Geshe Thupten Wangchen has agreed to confer the Jenang ("permission") empowerment, along with teachings and explanation, over the weekend of 5-6 June. The retreat, led by our beloved resident teacher Venerable Khadro, will begin on the afternoon of the 6th. There will be sessions to explain and clarify aspects of the practice, as well as Q&A sessions, and the retreat leader will give instructions, guidance and personal support to all retreatants.
Everyone warmly welcome – join us for the empowerment, for the retreat, or for both!
