Notice for The Annual General Meeting of Pakistan Association of New Zealand

Notice is hereby given to all members that the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of Pakistan Association of New Zealand will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020, 5:30pm. Venue: Mt Eden War Memorial Hall, 487 Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Auckland.
1. Introduction of PANZ
2. Welcome address by the President.
3. Financial Report
4. PANZ constitution
5. Discuss any other matter with the permission of the General Body.
6. Vote of Thanks.
ATTENDANCE AND VOTING RULES
Please note that:
Any notice of motion to be considered at the AGM must be submitted to the General Secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than Friday, July 17, 2020, 5pm. Such notices must be in writing, signed by a proposer & a seconder. Both must be paid members of PANZ.
Earlier this year, PANZ distributed 2 copies of constitutions with 2 different models. Both copies of constitutions will be presented to the community in the AGM to seek the approval for 1. Both copies of constitution can be accessed via below link. PANZ recommend’s community members to read both copies, fully & thoroughly before attending AGM. This exercise will give community members in depth knowledge of both constitutions & it will save time for everyone in AGM.
All Pakistani living in New Zealand are eligible to attend this meeting but only paid members of the association are eligible to vote. To ensure you are eligible to vote, all existing & aspiring paid members of PANZ must fill in the membership application form & pay their annual fee no later than Friday, July 17, 2020, 5pm. PANZ membership form can be accessed via http://www.panz.co.nz & membership fee is $10.
PANZ General Body can disqualify any member or request them to leave the hall on the disturbance or inappropriate behaviour during AGM.
