Gait Keepers is a dance film experiment that rebuilds the lost deities of gatekeeping. In collaboration with 5 Auckland based artists, Sarah Foster-Sproull recreates liminal deities presiding over thresholds, boundaries and doorways. The film is stylistically haphazard, restrained and odd. Sarah is finding her feet as a dance filmmaker through collaborative, ambitious and cobbled-together processes.
