Still keeping that precious pack of saffron in your cupboard and waiting for the right time and a special recipe to use it? Come along to our hands-on cooking workshop on the tastes of Persia and discover more about this delicious cuisine.
We’ll look at the recipes for a traditional dish (the tangy Fesenjan or the golden Tah-Chin) with a taste and aroma you’ll never forget, a tasty, vegetarian option (fresh herb KuKu or sweet potato KuKu) and a refreshing side to match, with relaxing music, anecdotes, engaging conversations and a freshly-brewed cup of tea.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Follow the recipes for two iconic Persian main dishes and tailor them to your personal taste and food sensitivities (the vegetarian variation)
- Add two quick, refreshing and healthy sides to your table and a youthful look to your skin
- Make yoghurt an inseparable part of your everyday diet
- Use saffron with more confidence in your dishes, desserts and drinks
All ingredients provided but bring an apron, dish cloth, tea towels and containers to take food home (and your tiny pack of saffron, if you have one!).
