Being an artist or a designer is great fun. And of course, it’s great when you develop a name for yourself and your particular style starts to become recognisable. But how do you start to take things to the next level and get your designs across commercial products? How can you create a range of designer goodies to sell at markets, to retailers, and to help build your online store?
Please bring digital photographs of finished artworks or high resolution digital graphic artwork files on a USB stick in .ai, .eps or .pdf format. Imagery must be of your own creative work.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Articulate your own creative and business goals when it comes to building your artist or designer brand
- Build your own product range using your own artwork in digital format
- Adapt and re-purpose your own designs to create a wider range of products
- Develop your own marketing plan to sell your product range
Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly. If you need to cancel your registration, here are our terms and conditions: "What You Need to Know".
Not for beginners to computing - you will be working on the school computers. For those who are practising or fledging artists or graphic designers.
