Auckland Live

Aotea Symphony is a free interactive sound experience.

You’re invited to turn sounds from the city into a visual symphony through the Auckland Live Digital Stage, in Aotea Square. Collaborate with strangers of all ages and backgrounds to transform unnoticed surrounding sounds into a beautiful symphony, a song you can relate to in a joyful way.

To create your very own symphony, simply step on the buttons and make your masterpiece! Then share your creations using #aoteasymphony.

About the artists
Blob Collective was created by Huey Min Pon and Melody Renaud. Min is a Malaysian-born motion artist and animator who explores motion in various mediums. Melody is a digital designer who explores technology to bring people closer together. Through Blob Collective, they combine their forces to close the bridge between art and technology in order to craft captivating digital art experiences.

In collaboration with Ethan Ivanier as creative technologist, and Peter Simpson as sound artist.
