The Royal NZ Institute of Horticulture invites you to their symposium commemorating the 250th anniversary of Cook's voyages on The Endeavour. Join us to hear lectures on the adventures of Solander, Banks and Parkinson, and other topics by leading NZ botanists and horticulturists, followed by our awards ceremony and networking.

Programme Summary

9.30am Registration

Featuring expert speakers with diverse perspectives on botany, horticulture and biosecurity

11.30pm Break
A chance to explore Te Papa or a local cafe

12pm Networking Forum
A chance to connect with others and exchange ideas with coffee and cake in hand

12.30pm Banks Memorial Lecture
The domestication and successful commercialisation of kiwifruit

1.30pm RNZIH AGM and Awards
Annual General Meeting and presentation of awards
