This down to earth course teaches a simple and very effective take-home meditation practise and day to day mindfulness tools. To have these tools is essential in today's world, to help you stay balanced, to develop your inner peace and to improve your concentration. It is always helpful to deal with stress and problems by staying calm and balanced, to improve your focus and feel more 'in charge' of yourself. Small daily stresses can build up and lead to rushing, making poor decisions, to becoming emotional and this can lead to ill health over time. This meditative peace course will give you the practical tools to deal in a much better way with these things, so helping you forward in your life.
Research has shown that meditation improves immunity, sleep, memory, creativity, concentration and learning ability. Harvard University found that it was related to anti-aging and healthy ageing - improving weight management, blood pressure, cardiac health and cognitive function.
Held over three sessions the course includes a book, handouts, and ongoing support. It can also be learned in one and a half hours by private appointment. Relaxation techniques are taught and there is the time to ask questions and to look at all the ways that meditation and mindfulness can help you personally in your life. You may attend ongoing meditation evenings at no charge. The course is not based on a religion and is open to those with all Spiritual beliefs, or those with none.
