Bring the Museum’s Pacific Cultures gallery to life and celebrate Dunedin’s vibrant Pasifika community with an afternoon of traditional and contemporary song, dance, and performance.

Pasifika Sunrise, St Joseph's Cathedral School Performing a Tongan kailao, a Niuean chant, a Samoan sasa, a Samoan song, and a Tahitian dance with a Cook Island twist!

Otago Tongan Students Association Performing a mix of traditional and modern Tongan dances and songs.

Cook Island Students Association Performing a selection of traditional Cook Island songs and drumming.

Otago Kiribati Community Performing: Te Wewete – Calling of the Spirits, Teirake Mwananga – Journeying Together, Tabiteuea – Pride in one's Identity, Nei Ketoa – Canoe, and Te Waa n Nikunau – Solo Boy's Dance.
