The 'Sport of Kings' returns to Queenstown with the NZSIR Silver Cup tournament being held on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st December 2019, with a back-up day for play on Sunday 22nd December. We are extremely excited to be partnering with New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty (NZSIR) as our tournament sponsor for this event.
Situated at the base of Coronet Peak and with views over the two internationally-sized polo fields to The Remarkables mountain range, Queenstown Polo is considered one of the most picturesque polo clubs in New Zealand and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon eating and drinking in style, while watching one of the world’s oldest and most dynamic team sports.
This exclusive event is a boutique day out and, with only 250 tickets available to the public, you need to organise your tribe quickly to avoid disappointment.
Each Platinum VIP ticket features a bottle of Gibbston Valley Non-Vintage Methode Traditionelle (valued at NZ$50) upon arrival - ensuring your afternoon gets off to an amazing start, plus two gourmet BBQ food items from Queenstown’s professional caterers - In2Food - and petit fours which will be circulated by wait staff for a sweet treat end.
The Gold VIP ticket includes the same food items as the Platinum VIP ticket, plus either a glass of Gibbston Valley wine or a beer from local brewery - Alpine Ale Works.
Please note all VIP tickets will ONLY be on sale until Monday the 16th of December and holders must be 18-years of age or older.
All General Admission tickets will NOT include any gourmet food or beverages and guests will only be able to purchase food from the fundraising BBQ run by the Wakatipu Pony Club and beverages from the onsite bars. Strictly no outside food or beverages allowed.
We are excited to announce that Cardrona Distillery will be mixing their delicious, refreshing Christmas cocktails throughout each afternoon and into the evening, while Spanish beer Estrella returns as the international beer offering.
Please Note: The event is fully licensed so strictly no BYO or outside food. There will be a cash/EFTPOS bar and extra food available to purchase throughout both days of the event.
