Chef Nick Anderson, back from 10 years in London as head chef of the famous Caravan Restaurants (Exemouth Market, Kings Cross, Bankside, City & Fitzrovia), joined the Deliciosa team as Head Chef in November 2018. Caravan is the brain child of three kiwis from Wellington who met while working at Providores under Peter Gordon. They were all keen travellers exploring the world and wanted to bring that experience of multiple food cultures into one restaurant, where their ethos was ‘well-travelled food’. They wanted it to be a multi-cultural, sharing, grazing place where groups of friends or strangers could sit down and share experiences & food memories – a place to bring ideas to the table. They also bought ‘good’ coffee to London at a time where the UK had no coffee culture…
Nick, Sarah and the team will host a shared grazing-style Sunday lunch event with an array of Caravan's most popular and iconic dishes. You will sip on a couple of Caravan's famous cocktails while grazing on sumptuous and innovative sharing plates in a long lunch format. We will have a selection of European wines available to purchase from Nick's favourite regions and he will have a couple of iconic recipes to take away
