‘A Fragrant Tone Of Light’ is part of a trilogy of storytelling performances. These are built from intimate conversations and interviews with people from within different Hawkes Bay communities.
This storytelling performance shares the voices of two men, and their families, who are on a continuum of change. Two men strangers to each other yet there are similarities in boyhood, adulthood and fatherhood.
We hear and see incidents and in-between moments of each voice/story and how these incidents define both men. See what it takes to determine who you can be as an adult as a father as a partner and as a husband.
This is a free storytelling event.
‘spaces > in < between’ is a collective of theatre makers and artists this process of storytelling explores the complexities of communities, of lived experiences, of diversity, and of voices that need to be heard in this time.
