A workshop for people who:
- think they can't sing
- think they're tone deaf
- are shy about singing
- just want to sing better
Singing is a learned skill. If we are born into a vibrant singing community we don’t even realise we are learning. However, not everyone had this start in life. This course is nurturing and fun. It covers singing in tune, breath control, extending range, overcoming shyness, basic music theory, harmony singing and lots of playful music making. You will be amazed at what can be achieved in one weekend!
The tutors Nikki and Gary are based in Christchurch. They have pioneered this work for many years and have helped hundreds of people begin the journey of having music as a central part of their lives. They are exceptional tutors, with sensitivity and a huge range of skills and experience.
