Ivy Bar & Cabaret and Hugo Grrrl's Gigs bring you Blush - A Pink Shirt Day fundraiser
Celebrated annually around the globe, Pink Shirt Day began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a peer was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. In Aotearoa, Pink Shirt Day works to create schools, workplaces, communities and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected.
This October people across Aotearoa will come together to take action against bullying and fundraise to support the kaupapa.
We have a star-studded line up giving us their time to help us raise money for InsideOUT
InsideOUT works to give rainbow young people in Aotearoa New Zealand a sense of safety and belonging in their schools and communities.
They are a national charity providing resources, information, workshops, consulting and support for anything concerning rainbow or LGBTQIA+ issues and education for schools, workplaces and community organisations.
All ticket sales will be donated to InsideOUT
