Due to flooding in town this event has been postponed until Sunday 16 February.
We’re keen to chat to anyone and everyone about proposed changes to our dog control rules over November and December. So we thought what better way to hear your thoughts and feelings on what we're proposing than by getting together, taking the lead and going for a great big dog walk in Queenstown.
QLDC's Animal Control staff will be down at the Memorial Arch from 10.00am - 12.00pm on Sunday 8 December, answering your questions on all things Dog Control.
If that hasn’t convinced you to attend, maybe the special dog-related goodie hampers we’re going to giveaway will. We’ll also have a picture booth running, so you can grab a family photo of you and your four legged friend.
Once we've all had enough time to mingle, chat to everyone (and sniff everything no doubt), we'll then embark on one great big dog walk around the Queenstown Gardens.
If you're interested in attending, please register your interest now. It's completely FREE to attend, but we need to have a clear view of numbers.
As mentioned above, we'll have a photobooth open and available for both pets and owners to have their picture taken. Please be advised that our intention is to post these on Social Media following the event.
Attendees will have the chance to win a number of special dog-related goodie hampers.
We need to have a clear view of numbers, so please register to attend now.
