See NZ's best comedians live for only $10, curated and hosted by Tim Batt. Wednesdays at Eden Terrace's underground bar venue, Beer Jerk Bunker.
This week with Chris Parker, Angella Dravid, James Mustapic, Liv McKenzie and Bec Sandys.
Chris Parker is the winner of the 2018 FRED Award (NZ’s top comedy honour) and is among the most exciting performers in New Zealand right now. He is a celebrated comedy writer, actor, improvisor and a familiar to face to any kiwi with a TV (featured in Golden Boy, 7 Days, Funny Girls, Have You Been Paying Attention and more).
Angella Dravid is dark, utterly unique and hilarious. Her deadpan delivery serves up some of the most insane personal stories and thoughts you’ll hear on a comedy stage in NZ. Angella has featured in Golden Boy, Wellington Paranormal, Jono and Ben, and more.
James Mustapic rose to fame for this genius pop culture show Repressed Memories on The Spinoff. Growing up gay in Dunedin, James is just as likely to deliver a cracking joke about Susan Paul as he is about being with a younger man.
Liv McKenzie is a Christchurch-based comedian and comedy actor. She’s a previous winner of Best Newcomer and Best Female Performer awards and has been reviewed as “an unexpected delight”.
Bec Sandy’s is a South Island comedian who’s lived a truly crazy life, having worked as a parachute packer, a freelance snowboard/travel writer, and Japan-based barista. Her warmth and stories keeps every audience hanging on every word.
