Experience Qigong outside in Christchurch
If you haven’t tried Forest Qigong before, it’s truly special. The calming energy of the trees brings a unique dimension to Qigong practice. This class is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
What is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice of breath and movement stretching back over 4,000 years. It’s simple to learn and can be done by everyone. It is the art of gently moving energy through your body, with the intention to boost health and healing. It has similarities to both yoga and Tai Chi.
About the class:
We’ll run class every week. If the weather isn’t cooperating on the day we’ll run a live online class instead via zoom - same time, just online. If you’d like to know if we’re meeting in person or live online please email email@example.com and I’ll let you know on the day where we’ll be.
We deep dive into various Qigong styles to bring balance and harmony to your mind, body and emotions. We explore breathing techniques, warm-ups, stretches, flows and standing postures. Each class finishes with a relaxing guided meditation.
