This 5 day Full Time Barista course is designed for beginners and will immerse you in the world of coffee. Students gain an NZQA Accredited Micro-Credential with 5 Credits at level 3.
You learn everything there is to know about coffee, from where it is grown through how the roasting process effects the flavours you taste in the cup. Hands on experience is the major component of this course, allowing you plenty of time to practice on professional machines to perfect your technique and make excellent coffee every time.

The skills learnt include:
- Prepare espresso and chocolate-based beverages
- How to operate and clean coffee machines
- Take orders (using Point of Sales software)
- Communicate and serve customers in a professional manner
